Specifically to increase vocabulary

I use this app to study for my Latin tests, its good to make groups. there are about 60 of us who are in the same group on here and have the same words and its really helpful!

Im not the kind of guy to go write reviews. I never do. However with this app, I had to. Memrise is a really useful and affecting app for memorizing anything. If you cant memorize something get this app. Find the subject you want and go for it. Cant find a specific subject? Go on the computer version of the website and create your own course. The app is really really good, but the secs really need to add in a search bar, science finding unusual courses can be difficult at times.

Fun and easy! Just what I needed!

It feels like a game and knows how to make things stick, simple as that. I love this app and can use it any where, any time and its just plain fun. And its one of the few apps that teaches Hawaiian.

I simply opened the app, navigated to my desired language, and began. And it works. Ive yet to "explore" the app to its fullest, but as of now it works great. Can download offline which is nice.

I seem to be doing ok. I am using this to prep for my Japanese class I start next week.

I am currently using this app for learning Mandarin, and it has made memorizing the characters and connecting them with the sounds so much easier! I thoroughly enjoy this app!

I truly love this app. Not only are there some great foreign language courses available (including some from big name universities), there are sections for geography, music, math, science, and more— for FREE. While there is an optional paid component to this app, you dont really need it to make progress. As someone who is very interested in language, I have tried just about every language app out there. This one beats all of the free competitors, and most of the paid ones too. (Yes, even duolingo). The only complaint I have, which is really very minor, is the absence of a search bar in the courses section. Still an awesome app though!
